HB 822, which create a tax credit for the purchase of Biodiesel, passed House Transportation Committee 10-8 this morning. The bill will be up for second reading on the House floor sometime in the next few days.

HB 166, to extend the current biodiesel production and storage tax credits passed 34-15 on 3rd reading on the Senate floor. Having no amendments, the bill has now goes to the governors office.

HB 166 passed Senate Natural Resources Committee 9-0 this afternoon. After passing 2nd and 3rd reading on the Senate floor, the bill will go to the Governor for his signature.


HB 432, to create a biodiesel mandate in Montana will be heard on Monday (March 26) in House Transportation Committee.
